Catoosa County Family Collaborative meets every fourth Thursday of the month at the Boynton Voting Precinct at 8:30 am. Breakfast is provided, along with information and help for just about any problem, family or otherwise, that you may have. Over 50 different representatives from the school system, local businesses, churches, civic organizations, government and many others meet to swap resources, compare ideas and take coordinated courses of action to ensure that every child in the county is born into a stable, self-sufficient family and achieves healthy, mature and productive citizenship. Everyone is invited to attend.

CareerOneStop Staff Coach is a free online program designed to assist staff in understanding how to use online resources to target high growth industries and provide demand-driven services. Go to http://staffcoach.onestopcoach.org to use it.

Enhancing WIA Performance Outcomes is a free online staff-training program designed to help states and local areas achieve and surpass federal performance standards for WIA programs and participants.  Through this training participation, individuals will understand federal WIA performance measures and the components of program design and service delivery that impact individual and collective performance. Enhancing Performance Measure Outcomes is targeted for front line adult and dislocated worker One-Stop Career Center staff, WIA youth provider staff, program supervisors and administrators, Workforce Investment Board members and staff, and for any other groups who believe they can benefit from a better understanding of how to achieve WIA performance for customers and programs. http://www.spra.com/PEP/ 

The Finance Project. A compilation of Finance Project resources including publications, tools, project descriptions, and up-to-date information on financing, performance management, governance, and community systems. Welcoming Customers with Disabilities at Your One-Stop Center. A FREE course designed to help those employees responsible for initial customer contact to develop a better understanding of accessibility and accommodation issues for people with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities. www.sedbtac.org 

Welfare Information Network. An easy-to-use index of materials that can help in the design and implementation of welfare and workforce reform, providing electronic links to almost 17,000 publications and other resources on more than 80 program and management issues.
