Northwest Georgia’s High Demand Career Initiative (HDCI) engages businesses and informs workforce development efforts in advanced manufacturing through an employer-led sector partnership. The goal of the Northwest Georgia HDCI is to build an infrastructure of communication between public and private sectors in order to identify and align the in-demand talent needs of industry to education and training programs in the region. This alignment will help to create a sustainable pipeline of qualified workers for the advanced manufacturing industry.

If you have any questions about HDCI or ideas for manufacturing education in the region, please contact project manager Candice McKie at or Terri Morgan at
