Driver Safety Program - $10 for Classroom setting and $15 on-line. Under Georgia Law the program is available to anyone 25-years of age and older. It offers an average 10% annual discount on the comprehensive and collision segments of automobile insurance premiums - each year for three years. For some, the percentage has even been higher (depending on personal driving history time with insuror). It is the goal of each AARP DSP instructor that class participants change just one driving habit for the better upon completion of the class. If they do that, they have done their job well. Hearing Aid Assistance
The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation provides Georgians facing hearing loss with digital hearing aids. The program provides aid to legal Georgia residents with household income below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Seniors in Motion program wants to help senior citizens and disabled individuals in the area obtain mobility equipment. The program helps those who medically quality to acquire equipment such as motorized and manual wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility equipment. Catoosa County

Alzheimer's Support Group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1 pm at Ringgold First Baptist Church; call 935-4998 for more information.

Alzheimer's Support Group meets the second Thursday of each month at Parkside Nursing Home at 6:30 pm. Anyone that has a family member with Alzheimer's Disease is welcome to attend. Call 965-5702 for more information.

The public is invited to Barleygreen Nutrition Center each Tuesday at 8:00 pm. You can learn how to enjoy your youth, retirement and golden years. The center is at 3702 Three Notch Road. Call (706) 937-2390.

The public is invited to Catoosa County Senior Center for bingo at 10:00 am on Mondays. Exercise, games, library and quilting are offered daily. Tuesdays at 10:30 am country music, Thursdays at 10:00 am movie, and Fridays at 10:00 am bingo. For more information call Shari Harline at (706)935-2451 or stop by the center at Benton Place Campus off Old Mill Road.

Catoosa County Seniors group meets on Thursdays at 6 p.m. for fun and festivities at the Ringgold Nutrition Center.  All seniors 55 and over are invited. Please bring your snacks. Rocky Mull's Bank provides music. Donations for the band are $3. For more information call Maudie Black at 935-3882.
