Occupational Skills Training


​​​If you are 18 years or older, unemployed/underemployed, have been laid-off from your previous employment or received notice of layoff, you may qualify for Occupational Training Services.

Training Assistance can include help with tuition, fees, books, program supplies, and support services such as transportation costs and childcare.

who do we serve

​Individuals who live or have been laid-off in our 15 county region.  Our counties include Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Pickens, Polk, Walker, and Whitfield.

how it works

Eligible applicants will work with a WIOA Career Counselor to determine occupational interest.  The Career Counselor will also provide  information about other WIOA programs and One Stop partner services to determine which best suits the applicant's needs.   To apply, please visit the WIOA Applicant Portal.
