As part of an effort to practice social distancing, Worksource Northwest Georgia have adding the following instructions for all online Applicants wanting to apply for WIOA training programs. The online portal applies to Youth, Adults/DW, and OJT programs.
If you need assistance in completing the online registration, you may contact your career advisor and assistance will be provided.
STEP 1- Go to the Georgia WorkReady Online Participant Portal
Click not registered?
Select Option 3 - Create a User Account→ Individual Complete registration
Record Your Registration information in space provided below for future reference.

STEP 2
Access the NWGRC WIOA training application and required documents at the Career Depot website.
Print the application and complete all the required documents. The application and required documents are fillable and can be uploaded in the Georgia WorkReady Online Portal. In Addition, the following documents below must be uploaded in the Georgia WorkReady Online Participant Portal as well:
1. Copy of proof of age/U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S. (copy of birth certificate, copy of driver’s license or state ID)
2. Copy of signed Social Security card
3. Signed Affidavit Form
4. Income Verification:
a. Proof of public assistance for food stamps (copy of EBT card or copy of COMPASS information) OR
b. Proof of other financial assistance OR
c. (copy of Supplemental Security Insurance, copy of Retirement Survivors Disability Insurance, copy of Unemployment compensation) OR
d. Proof of 6 months wages (copy of pay stubs, copy of computer printout, or completed Employment and Income Verification form attached)
Once you completed both steps and scanned all required documents into the Georgia Worksource portal. Then a career advisor will contact you in regard to your eligibility status once all documents have been received. (submitting the application does not automatically guarantee enrollment into the program).
The application and the documents submitted will be used to determine eligibility for the program, not suitability. In addition to completing the application, you will be required to complete assessment activities to determine your reading and math skills, set education, employment, career goals, and establish immediate steps towards these goals.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IN REGARD TO MEDICAL AND DISABILITY RELATED INFORMATION:
1. Any information you provide shall be voluntary, and
2. Any information provided shall be kept confidential as provided by law, and
3. Your refusal to provide any information shall not subject you to any adverse treatment, and
4. Any information provided shall be used only in accordance with the law
